The Westergasfabriek cultural park is literally a five-minute walk away — perfect for morning runs or evening strolls. Getting to Central Station takes about fifteen minutes by tram, and honestly, the journey along the water is half the fun.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in had floor-to-ceiling windows that made me feel like I was floating above the city. What struck me most was how quiet everything was, considering you’re in a tower surrounded by urban life. The design leans modern and minimalist — clean lines, neutral colors, nothing too fussy. The bathroom was compact but well-thought-out, and I appreciated having a proper workspace since I was mixing business with pleasure on this trip.

Great location and good value The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were great. The bed was very comfortable.
What could be improved: There were a few things broken (stone threshold to the bathroom somehow is shattered and the light by the bathroom mirror didn't work). There was also some hair in the bathroom so the cleaning could have been better.

Very nice staff but would have been better to let us know beforehand that there would be no window in the room. The staff was really nice. It was nice to pass by the river to go to the hotel.
What could be improved: There was no window in the room only some kind of glass wall with a view on the corridor when people can see you when they are passing by in the corridor if you don’t pull off the curtains. I booked this hotel for the view on the river and the pictures on the website are a bit misleading and deceitful.

What could be improved: It was quite dark in the room, a few more lamps/lights added would be nice. People can see right into the room so be cautious with that while changing. For that reason, we always had the curtains closed and missed some natural light in the room.

Pillows was high and uncomfortable.
Nice, clean rooms, good location No stairs, all on ground floor. Bikes were good and cheap to hire.
What could be improved: Lack of signage to reception. The lights in the room wouldn't turn off. We were told that someone would come and sort them out but didn't turn up.
We had to pull the card so unable to charge mobile phones through the night.
Would definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Easy to navigate to the center from the hotel. Very quiet.
What could be improved: My room had a giant column which made it very difficult to navigate. The shower was not enclosed so there would be huge puddles of water in the bathroom. Heat didn’t work well. Was a little pricey but I realize it was due to it being tourist season.
