It’s one of those three-star places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not, but honestly, the location more than makes up for any fancy frills you might be missing.
Location & Neighborhood
You know what’s great about staying here? Everything worth seeing in Amsterdam is basically at your doorstep. The Royal Palace is right there, Anne Frank House is a short stroll away, and those famous canal tours everyone talks about — you can catch them from multiple spots within a five-minute walk. I actually appreciated how you could duck back to the hotel easily when your feet got tired from all that cobblestone wandering.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was compact but functional — typical Amsterdam style, really. The building’s got that classic Dutch charm with narrow stairs (fair warning if you’re hauling heavy luggage), but the rooms themselves are clean and comfortable enough. The windows actually open properly, which is nice when you want some fresh air instead of cranking the AC all night.
Practical Considerations
Breakfast isn’t included, but there’s a decent café literally next door, and honestly, half the fun of being in Amsterdam is grabbing coffee and pastries from different spots anyway. Lovely hotel, in the middle of most things. Location - you can’t get better than this hotel. Right in the middle of everything. Clean and tidy with a nice size tv.
What could be improved: The rooms were a little bit small, but for the amount of time you spend in them, it didn’t impact us hugely.
Superb Close to the train station and sights
Absolutely perfect, if I were younger! If I were 20 or 30 something this property… for this money would have been PERFECT, but I’m 43yrs old… a little too old and set it my ways… I like silence. This place is in the heart of Amsterdam, its location is perfect! I had a private one bathroom room with an ensuite. everything was immaculate. The bathroom also included a hairdryer, shampoo, and body wash, oh and clean towels. I received room service each day… clean sheets etc. There’s 24 hour reception so there is always someone to ask questions and help. My stay wad absolutely perfect except my 20 year old children should’ve been there! Not me, I’m too old for so much activity, fun, and noise 😅

Very good The room was spacious and clean, staff is super friendly, cosy beds, perfectly located in the city centre. You can leave your luggage after check out, which is great for travellers with later departure.
What could be improved: The bathroom is tiny. Room located towards busy street, therefore could be a big loud - nevertheless it was absolutely fine for a short trip.
Great stay in the heart of Amsterdam Great location in a busy area but quiet from the hotel room. The room was comfy, clean and had all the basics you need.
