First Impressions
Marnix360apartments Design sits right on one of Amsterdam’s busiest streets, and honestly, that’s part of its charm. The building has this sleek, modern facade that stands out among the traditional Dutch architecture — you’ll spot it immediately when you’re walking down Marnixstraat. It’s a four-star property that feels more like upscale serviced apartments than a typical hotel, which I actually prefer when I’m staying somewhere for more than a night or two.
Location & Getting Around
The location is pretty brilliant if you ask me. You’re in Amsterdam City Centre, but on a street that locals actually use — not just tourists stumbling between coffee shops. The Jordaan neighborhood is literally around the corner, and I mean that walk to the Anne Frank House takes maybe eight minutes. What I love is that you can grab the tram right outside (lines 7, 17, and 19), so getting to Centraal Station or the Museum Quarter is dead easy.
The Apartment Experience
Each apartment comes with a proper kitchenette, which saved me a fortune during my stay. The design is what you’d expect from the name — clean lines, neutral colors, and those big windows that let in tons of light. The room layouts are smart too; even the smaller units don’t feel cramped because they’ve maximized every inch of space. I stayed in a studio that had this clever murphy bed situation that actually worked well.
Practical Details
There’s no on-site restaurant, but with that kitchen setup, you don’t really need one. Plus, you’re surrounded by incredible local spots — there’s this Indonesian place called Tempo Doeloe just a few blocks away that’s absolutely worth the walk. Parking is available, though like everywhere in Amsterdam, it’s not cheap. I’d honestly recommend skipping the car entirely and just using the excellent tram connections.
Why Guests Love It
What really works here is the balance between hotel service and apartment independence. You get daily housekeeping if you want it, but you can also cook your own breakfast and come and go as you please. The 7.5 rating makes sense — it’s solid, well-designed, and genuinely useful for exploring the city. The staff knows the neighborhood inside and out, so don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations that go beyond the typical tourist trail.

What Our Guests Say
Superb The apartment was very comfortable, spacious and great location. Communication was clear and easy to manage, would highly recommend
Ok - the best part was the early check in Good location and we were very pleased to be allowed an early check in.
Beds are all single and narrow but comfortable.
Good to have a dishwasher, kitchen stuff was ok apart from the kettle.
What could be improved: Steep staircase to the entrance. A bit scruffy.
Very basic decor, could do with a refurb really. Kettle was all burnt in the bottom. No bedside table.
Overall it was a very nice and comfortable stay! Nice open spaces to relax, comfortable beds.
Easy to check in and check out
What could be improved: It was a little warm. It would be nice to open windows in the bedrooms.
Needed more toilet paper and maybe some extra towels and utensils.
Very pleasant stay which allowed us to let our 4 young grandchildren discover Amsterdam. Very bright apartment with a simple but modern and functional decoration. It is perfect for a family with several children. The apartment is very well located with several tram lines nearby, as well as food shops (Albert Heijn).
What could be improved: Nothing to complain about.
A lovely apartment and I would recommend it for a larger group. The location. The communication with the letting agent. The living area and kitchen
What could be improved: The 5 single beds squashed into the bedrooms so that there were no bedside tables. Good for a group of 5 but not for the 3 of us.
Great stay for a group of mates and perfect for the F1 Great location, spacious apartment with a great view. Great links to transport with tram stop outside.
What could be improved: Only 1 toilet
Extremely comfortable stay in the heart of the city. Great location, good sound proof windows, large living space for a family! Washer/dryer was very handy for extended stay. Staff was very responsive.
What could be improved: Could be a bit more equipped with some basic cooking supplies.
Very good The location is fantastic
What could be improved: The corridor is very loud and the bunker needs a bit of refurbishment
Great apartment in a good location - would recommend Beautiful apartment, in a good location. It was very easy to locate and had great facilities. We also like the balcony overlooking the roads.
What could be improved: We had to get new door keys as our stopped working but it only seemed like a technical issues, so it was not a big deal. We still haven't received the refund for our deposit.
Lovely space We landed early they let us leave our suitcases in the apartment prior to check in (they were cleaning the apartment from the last guests)
The apartment was lovely, spacious and was comfortable. it's in a good location, roughly a 20 minute walk from anything, but there are shops etc around the area.
