This four-star property sits on Lange Leidsedwarsstraat, which is basically a quieter side street just off the main Leidseplein action. You know what struck me most? The building has this authentic Amsterdam canal house vibe — narrow frontage, steep stairs, the works.
Location & Getting Around
I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from Leidseplein, which is Amsterdam’s entertainment hub. The Melkweg and Paradiso are right there if you’re into live music, and there’s this constant buzz of street performers and late-night energy. But here’s the thing — being on the side street means you actually get some peace when you want it. The trams are super accessible (lines 1, 2, 5, 7, and 10 all stop at Leidseplein), so getting around the city is dead easy.
The Studios
Each apartment is genuinely spacious at 60 square meters — that’s huge by Amsterdam standards. The independence factor is real here; you’ve got your own entrance, your own kitchen, basically your own little Amsterdam life for however long you’re staying. The kitchenette setup is actually pretty well-equipped, which saved me a fortune on eating out every meal. The room layouts feel thoughtful rather than cramped, and there’s enough storage space that you won’t be living out of your suitcase.

What could be improved: For the price I would have expected some decent pillows & bedding. Pillows were pretty shabby.
Downside is it is very noisy until about 4am with lots of revellers walking past & shouting. Once that stops the staff from the restaurants start l dragging a huge bins up the road! The doors are a bit stiff inside so it makes it noisy if opening & closing doors in the night.
Smell of drains in the bathroom & the fan in one of the bedrooms didn’t work. A decent place but could do with a couple of improvements
Very good Location, cleanliness, character property, friendly host, spacious.
What could be improved: Stairs were VERY steep with no handrail. The front bedroom had an unlocked door to the street, giving a feeling of insecurity. Couldn't get the TV to work, even after following instructions.
Superb Espresso machine with beans ready to use
Very spacious First time for me to stay in Amsterdam that is this spacious, upper floor was separated, had big table so we could sit there together and work. We had whole place for ourselves. The appartment had everything and the size was great. 2 toilets, 1 bathroom, 2 rooms (I room was divided to bedroom and small living room).
What could be improved: You need to walk 20 mins to center and price was a bit high but both is normal for Amsterdam’s standards, we booked last minute.
Evening was a bit noisy for the room that had direct doors to the street, someone was even bothering (I think drunk people) and knocking on the door, my colleague was scared. However that’s not avoidable.
Will certainly recommend to family and friends. Excellent location. Comfortable rooms.

Exceptional Fantastic location for anyone who wants to visit Amsterdam and its most important museums. Excellent contact with the Host, you can count on help in any matter. Comfortable, nice, clean and cozy. I recommend it with all my heart.
Beautiful place, great location & clean. Location was perfect. This definitely was comfortable as we booked (2) bedrooms, so we had the place to ourselves. This is the perfect setup if you are traveling with friends or family, together. If not, & choose to book 1 bedroom, then you would have had to share the shower, toilets & kitchen area with another person/couple if it’s booked during the same time.
What could be improved: You need to supply your own toilet paper. Upon our arrival there was only a 1/4 of a roll left in both bathrooms & when we called to ask where others were located, we were told we have to buy our own.
