Walking up to the Linden Hotel on Lindengracht, you immediately get that “this is exactly what I was hoping for” feeling. The Jordaan district spreads out around you with its maze of narrow streets and local cafes, and I mean, you can walk to the Anne Frank House in about ten minutes if you want to tackle the crowds. The hotel becomes this comfortable base where you can drop your bags and head back out, knowing you’ve got a good spot to return to.
