Walking up to Leonardo Boutique Hotel The Lancaster Hotel Amsterdam, you immediately notice it’s not your typical chain property. It sits right on Plantage Middenlaan, which honestly took me a minute to pronounce correctly, but the staff didn’t seem to mind my attempts.

The Room Experience

My room was what you’d expect from a four-star place — clean, comfortable, but with some nice touches that showed someone was paying attention.
