Osdorp might not ring bells for first-time visitors to Amsterdam, but here’s what I learned: you’re actually in a sweet spot. The Sloterdijk station is a quick bus ride away, connecting you to Central Station in about 15 minutes. What I really appreciated was the genuine local vibe — you know, actual Dutch families doing their grocery shopping, kids cycling to school. The Osdorpplein shopping center is walkable, and honestly, grabbing coffee there felt more authentic than anything near Dam Square.
The Room Experience
My room was surprisingly spacious for European standards, with clean lines and that understated Scandinavian-meets-Dutch aesthetic. The bed was properly comfortable (not just hotel-marketing comfortable), and I actually slept well despite being a notoriously picky sleeper. The bathroom felt modern without being sterile, and there’s decent storage space — something you don’t always get in Amsterdam hotels where every square meter costs a fortune.

It was a nice stay in a place where we enjoyed family time close to the centre of Amsterdam. The duplex was simple but very practical. Very well connected to Amsterdam and the rest of the Netherlands.
What could be improved: The bathroom completely closed keeping humidity.

Superb Lovely large rooms in a picturesque suburb close to the end of tram 2. Our room was exceptionally large and was well equipped with necessary amenities for cooking.
Pre check in information including door codes were sent well in advance.
What could be improved: It wasn't always easy to reach the staff especially during morning checkout time when one would expect staff to be available. There were several numbers to call listed at reception in case the desk was unstaffed - these were not straightforward to follow as one led me to the head office in another country.
great and relaxt place if you don't need to go to the city center goede locatie t.a.v. schiphol. Easy cheap parking and super relaxt and quiet. I will be back

Great stay hosted by very nice people in a charming studio at an excellent location. The studio was clean, spacious, well light, well appointed and very well located. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The location is perfect to connect to public transportation with bus line 195 right out front of the building. the This was a great place to stay for our 13 night visit.

What could be improved: The beds
Clear concise instructions to access the property and our room. Nice place to stay. Clean and well equipped kitchen. There is an iron and hairdryer. Friendly staff who were quick to rectify any problems.
What could be improved: There is a sofa bed in the room which is also a settee, it was very uncomfortable to sit on! (Reported to staff). The property has easy access to the tram however, it’s a 30min ride so quite far out of Amsterdam centre.
We enjoyed our stay at the Green Stay apartment. The location is beautiful. Access to public transportation is easy. The size of the apartment is nice and roomy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Esther, the Manager, goes out of her way to accommodate guests. I liked the transportation to the airport for a reasonable price. The location is very quiet which was a big plus for me.
What could be improved: When we arrived the access code was not working. It took 45 minutes for someone to arrive. The apartment had not been cleaned even though we arrived around 3:30 PM. The bedroom in apt. 69 does not have enough storage space for clothes. There is no light above the couch. The walls in the bedroom show blood traces of killed insects. The pillow was lumpy. Overall the facility can use a good lick of paint especially the stairs. The floor of the van can use a good overhaul also.
Very good It was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to public transport and supermarket.
What could be improved: The shower made a mess across the floor and the couch was a bit grubby.
