I mean, it’s tucked into a typical Amsterdam row house in Oud-West, but once you step inside — wow. This four-star gem honestly surprised me with how they’ve managed to create something that feels both intimate and polished at the same time.
The Neighborhood
Here’s what I love about this spot in Amsterdam — you’re in Oud-West, which locals know is where the real city happens without all the tourist chaos. The Vondelpark is literally a five-minute walk away, and you’ve got these fantastic little cafés and shops along the street that most visitors never discover. You know what’s great? You can actually hear birds in the morning instead of tour groups, but you’re still close enough to walk to the Rijksmuseum or hop on a tram to the center whenever you want.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was honestly better than some boutique hotels I’ve paid twice as much for. They’ve got this thing figured out — it’s not huge (this is Amsterdam, after all), but every inch is thoughtfully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I actually slept through the night, which doesn’t always happen when I travel. Perfect location with great amenities! Enjoyed the location, layout, luxury amenities, and room darkening curtains. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
What could be improved: We didn’t know we had to go down a narrow/steep set of stairs to get to the lower level where our room was. However, we did not ask the location of the room before booking so this was our fault. We are able-bodied so going down and up was okay. There is a railing on both sides of the stairwell so this helped. Bringing luggage down and up was the only difficult parts, but we only did this once during our stay so it wasn’t a big deal. Might be difficult for elderly to get down to the lower level rooms.
Fantastyczny! Polecam każdemu. Fantastyczny kontakt ze strony właścicieli. Czekali aby przywitać i opowiedzieć o najbliższej okolicy a także o samym mieście, pozostawali w ciągłym kontakcie za pomocą WhatsApp'a. Bardzo dogodna lokalizacja - do najważniejszych atrakcji można dojść spokojnym spacerkiem w około 30 minut a do pierwszych kanałów w kilka. W niedużej odległości przystanek tramwajowy (dogodne, bezpośrednie połączenie z miejscem postoju autobusów Flixbus; ok 3-5 minut spacerkiem w zależności w którym kierunku chcemy jechać). W pobliżu apartamentu duży supermarket (ok 2-3 minuty spacerkiem), ze wszystkimi potrzebnymi artykułami. W samym apartamencie ekspres do kawy z kapsułkami, czajnik i zestaw herbat, zastawa kuchenna dla 2. osób. Bardzo ładna, wygodna i czysta łazienka.
Idealne miejsce na bazę wypadową w Amsterdamie!
What could be improved: Apartament znajduje się w piwnicy (nieco niżej niż polskie sutereny) natomiast ma dostęp do dużego, sprytnie wykonanego okna, tak, że promienie słoneczne do niego i tak docierają.
Un séjour extraordinaire Un échange chaleureux avec Inez et André dès la réservation et qui s'est poursuivi par la suite, notamment avec des indications très précises pour accéder à l'appartement. Un appartement très mignon avec une belle salle de douche, une kitchenette bien organisée et complète et des lits extrêmement confortables, le tout d'une propreté irréprochable. L'emplacement est idéal pour arpenter les rues d'Amsterdam. Des hôtes très gentils, de bon conseils et à l'écoute. Bref nous avons passé une séjour incroyable !

Exceptional I loved being a guest of Inez and André they welcome you very lovely and explain everything. Its very central and the apartment has everything you need and more.
Exceptional Truly fantastic place. Our host was very attentive and gave us some good recommendations for the area. The place itself is spacious, immaculately clean, and newly renovated with some really stunningly-luxurious finishes. The location is really good—you're very close to most of the places you might want to be as a tourist while getting to feel like you're in a very quiet, "real" Amsterdam neighborhood.
What could be improved: Although the ceilings are high and the windows create a surprising sense of space, the rooms are unavoidably still in the basement. You're not gonna get much light and no views. Staircase down to the place is very steep, as is typical in Amsterdam, so be careful coming home at night! :)

The location is excellent you can walk or take the tram and in a few minutes you are at the heart of Amsterdam, but also this neighborhood is amazing with great cafés and restaurants (that you mostly find locals!)
What could be improved: There is not an elevator yet, but it will be in the future.
Best place I have ever stayed in Amsterdam! We recently had the pleasure of staying in a beautifully decorated room in Amsterdam that exceeded all my expectations. The moment we stepped inside, we were struck by the tasteful and elegant décor that created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every detail, from the stylish bathroom and curtains to the charming artwork, was thoughtfully chosen, making the room feel like a true retreat.
Cleanliness was impeccable; the room was spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with plush pillows that ensured a restful night’s sleep.
The location of the accommodation was perfect. It was conveniently situated, everything was just a short walk or bike ride away.
The hosts.. andré and Inez are the most friendly welcoming people who are just around the corner and happy to help with anything
Overall, this stay in Amsterdam was exceptional. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located room with a beautiful aesthetic. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to the city!
