You’re about a 15-minute tram ride from Centraal Station, which actually works in your favor because you can explore the city during the day and come back to somewhere that feels real. The Foodhallen food market is walkable from here, and trust me, that’s where you want to grab dinner anyway.
What You’re Getting
The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable — nothing fancy, but everything worked properly, which isn’t always a given at this price point. The bed was firm (very Dutch), and there was enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What I appreciated most was the attention to small details: decent lighting for reading, outlets where you actually need them, and a shower with proper water pressure.

Breakfast is served in a cozy common area that feels more like someone’s dining room than a hotel restaurant. They keep it simple — fresh bread, good coffee, local cheese, and jam — but it’s all quality stuff. You know what really struck me? Happy stay Lovely cosy apartment with a beautiful garden to enjoy a coffee in. Quiet and relaxing and easy to catch the bus into central amsterdam. Would recommend, ideal for a couple. Good coffee machine, lots of different tea bags to pick from.

What could be improved: Loved everything just a shame the bedroom didn't have a TV. Would be fine if not sharing with others who sleeping on sofa bed.

Nice B&B with very friendly hosts - Very friendly and helpful hosts who made our stay so nice
- In a quiet street but next to all facilities (grocery stores, bakery, ...)
- Close to public transportation to easily go to the city center, Centraal station and to the airport
- a nice little yard with a trampoline for kids
What could be improved: - no stove due to Bed & Breakfast regulations in Amsterdam. But all other appliances are available (oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle...) so it is not a problem.
Good location , helpful and friendly host , ok for a very short stay , better suited to no more than two people. Location.
Reasonable facilities for a short stay
What could be improved: Very, very small bathroom which left little room to comfortably access or use the toilet .if you are a larger person it would be extremely difficult.
No hob , so no facility to cook pasta or similar or fry.
Oven came with only one oven proof dish - no baking trays to cook pizza etc , which was difficult in feeding a family of four especially without a hob. Description of kitchen was a bit misleading in that respect.
Bedding was tired looking there was only a sheet to cover the sofa bed which was textured so not entirely comfortable. Given the apartment is described as ‘luxury’ better quality bed linen and duvet would be a quick win in improving this aspect for the customer.
Some dangerous wiring in lounge area on the floor by the television with live wires taped but exposed.
Best Host and Cosiest apartment We liked the location, the look of the apartment. we felt at home and Janeth was very friendly and welcomed us very well. I loved the kitchen and the balcony and more over for the fact that it is first floor, so easy to bring luggages upstairs.
What could be improved: We didn't know that it was not possible to cook in the apartment as there was no stove. But as it has a conventional oven and a microwave oven, there were no problems.
The doors need oil to remove the noise.
