Here’s what I love about this location β Zuidoost gets overlooked by most tourists, which means you’re staying where actual Amsterdammers live and work. You’re about a 15-minute metro ride from Centraal Station, but the trade-off is worth it. The neighborhood has this multicultural energy with great food spots and none of the chaos you’ll find around Dam Square. There’s solid parking nearby too, which anyone who’s driven in Amsterdam will tell you is basically a miracle.

Exceptional Super nice room &friendly host.
The house is a bit out of the center in a nice residental area but very close to the metro which allows you to enjoy the city as well as relax. I was just there for one night but would recommend staying there,
This place has stolen my heart π Situated in a very calm neighbourhood. 5 minutes walk to the metro station and supermarket.
Room is well designed. You can find there everything you need for a comfortable stay. Books and flower make it cozy like being at home. Large bed and numerous pillows are super comfortable to relax after a long walk. Big windows let a lot of light come in.
Fruits, snacks, tea and coffee are carefully left in the room in enough quantity.
Host is really careful and super friendly.
What could be improved: It would be a bit complicated to go specific holland stairs up and down with a heavy luggage.
If you have a bagpack it is fine.
A good alternative to staying in the city.its a quiet suburban locstion but easily accessible and extremely well fitted It is very comfortable, clean and the hosts provide nice touches like fruit milk tea coffee etc. Good transport link to the city and a supermarket very near.
Superb Koen is a great host! Makes you feel welcome. Clean room, everything you need is there. Close to public transport.
What could be improved: For a tall man like me, the shower is a bit small.
Exceptional The accommodation was clean and cosy. It is not big but there were all necessary things to feel comfortable in the apartment. The owner met us and showed how all things worked from entering till leaving the apartment. He always was ready to help us and answer any questions. He is very friendly and always ready to help.

Very well equipped guest room with very friendly people The room is very well equipped and the hosts are super friendly! They had tea, coffee, fruits and a super tasty home-baked cinnamon roll ready for the weary traveler. The bed was comfortable and the environment was pleasantly quiet for a good night's rest. The location is easily reachable by car or metro train, and some facilities including a supermarket were within 5 minutes of walking. All in all: an excellent stay!

We had an amazing experience staying at this apartment in Amsterdam. One of the biggest advantages is how conveniently located it isβjust a short walk to the metro, which takes you directly to the city center in less than 30 min. This made exploring the city so much easier.
The owner was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us with any questions we had, making us feel very welcome. Another huge plus was the private parking. If youβre traveling by car, this place is a gem, as parking in or near the city center can be extremely expensive.
The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with thoughtful touches like snacks, which was such a nice surprise after a long journey. Overall, itβs an excellent choice for anyone visiting Amsterdam, and weβd definitely stay here again!
